Labor Ministry rescinds circulars issued during Covid-19 pandemic
Last November 30, 2022, the Labor Ministry, through External Circular No. 71, rescinded the circulars issued in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Additionally, it did the same with the Internal Circular No. 049 of 2019 which dictated the guidelines to be followed by the Labor Inspectors to approve or deny dismissal authorizations for workers with disabilities or with reinforced labor stability for health reasons.
